Singapore, July 04, 2025 – XL Ventures Pte Ltd received In-Principle Approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to perform licensed Venture Capital Fund Manager (VCFM) activities.
Founded by Amit Sharma and Saroj Mishra, XL Ventures aims to invest in and promote tech startups that use data, sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize energy consumption in commercial buildings and power infrastructure — sectors with significant potential for decarbonization.
Mr. Amit Sharma joins the advisory board of Project Point Carbon Zero - a joint initiative of Google and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to drive the innovation, incubation and scaling of climate FinTech solutions in Asia. The programme seeks to use climate FinTech solutions to bolster financial sector access to accurate and granular climate-related data, for more efficient deployment of capital towards green and sustainable projects.
